Jordan's Story
My daughter has had glaucoma, along with many other eye abnormalities, since birth. She is now 10. We received an iCare last year, but before that we were constantly having to drive 3 hours away to Duke to see Dr. Freedman. Most eye doctors around us were unable to check my daughters pressure because she has micro ophthalmia (small eye and pupil). Now we have been able to reduce the number of trips and and most importantly not have to worry all of the time about her pressures being too high and us not knowing. And there have been times, thanks to the iCare we have, that they have been really high and we were able to act fast and increase eye drops or her oral med.
